After much research I took the advice from several articles in various publications and tried the New Life Spectrum range of foods. I must admit I was sceptical that one food could keep my very diverse range of Malawi and Tanganyika Cichlid healthy and without the fuss of using several different foods to make up a complete diet for each species. I was amazed to see a huge difference in color of my breeding males within two weeks. Most interesting of all, even the fussiest of eaters, would launch at the food as soon as it hit the water, something I’ve never seen with my delicate Tanganyikan’s before. Another interesting benefit of the food I believe is my females are better conditioned and produce more fry since I have started using the food.

I would not hesitate on recommending anyone keeping Cichlid's to try this great food with the added benefit that New Life Spectrum is the only food that I know of that comes with a money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.

Keep up the great work New Life Spectrum as I am convinced that my fish have never looked brighter or healthier.

“I have been using New Life Spectrum for over three years in our retail aquarium store. I have never seen a food that so many different types of fish take to so quickly. From small Tetras to large Powder Blue Tangs and Malawi Cichlids; this range of foods is the answer to all your fish’s dietary requirements. If you have not tried this food yet, do yourself and your fish a favour and try it now”.

We feed a lot of NLS to the fish in our store - no food is more accepted by newly imported marine fish and other fussy eaters. I also exclusively feed NLS to all my personal fish - nothing touches the tank floor and they exhibit great colouration and health. There is no other food that I recommend more to my customers.

We have now been feeding New Life Spectrum fish food on our display tanks exclusively for six months and the results speak for themselves. The colours and growth rates have been outstanding; so much that we now feed all the fish in our store your food. I would recommend Spectrum to anyone who wants naturally vibrant colours in their fish and great breeding results.

I have been keeping and breeding fish for more years than I care to remember. Spectrum foods are excellent for conditioning and bringing out the natural colour of your fish. It is especially beneficial with fussy fish and aids in promoting successful breeding of difficult species. My Tropheus colonies breed constantly when feed with Spectrum. I thoroughly recommend the Spectrum food range for the serious aquarist.

I have noted an improvement in disease resistance in fish fed with Spectrum foods, especially in the case of Thera A. I highly recommend all my clients feed mainly Thera A for 2 weeks prior and 6 weeks after the introduction of new fish to aquaria. Thera A is a fantastic preventative for parasitic infestations.

I have never seen a food that so many different types of fish take to so quickly. Personifer and Scribble Angels were eating this food within three days after arrival. Our fish losses on the biggest and most expensive fish have really gone down.

I am equally amazed at the variety of fish that eat this food. From Damsels to Parrotfish, they all attack it with aggression.

Thanks for the food and all the support you are giving this great hobby. You have just greatly improved our fish quality.

I would like to share with you some observations I have made after feeding your New Life "Spectrum" Premium Fish Food.

I was given some to try by a local wholesaler. I was very sceptical. I have seen foods come and go over my 30 plus years as a hobbyist and few of them have left any impression.

In working with Lake Victorian cichlids, I have found that only the best foods will bring out the colors in fish. In the past, I have feed frozen bloodworms, high-quality flake food and have had very good results.
The red on the unpaired fins of some Victorian males is sometimes difficult to get to come out. Often they look dull red to an orange brown color in the stores.

After feeding your food to my fish for three days, I noticed a dramatic improvement. The dull red fins of the males were now a bright tomato-red color. My existing colonies showed brighter colors too.
Some females in my colonies were in fact subdominant males. This allowed me to adjust the sex ratios of my colonies to a more favourable one.

I thought to get these nice colors that I would be sacrificing the fishes' spawning abilities. Just the opposite has happened. I get more spawning activity with an increase in the size of the spawns. I recommend your food to other club members and hobbyists.

I really like [New Life International's] new food. I like the sinking pellets the best. The first thing I noticed was the reds and yellows really becoming more intense on all my fish. My L. lelupi turned from a light yellow to a deep orange. The food intensified the colors in Victorian Cichlids like no other food I have ever used. It is readily accepted by all my fish, from guppies to frontosas.

I even have a group of native pygmy sunfish (Enneacanthius gloriosus, The Blue Spotted Sunfish) that I have had for a year, that would only eat live food, eagerly take it! This stuff has to taste great!
I encourage anyone who shows fish to try this food. All my show fish are now fed this twice a day. I expect some Blue ribbons this year at the ACA convention!

I owe you two big Thank You. One for convincing me to use your Spectrum food with my home aquarium. The Spectrum food you sent me to sample has kept my fish in immaculate condition for over 8 months now. My Powder Blue Tang, Atlantic Queen Angel, French Angel, and Harlequin Tusk are all as bright and fat as the day I took them home. They have been fed exclusively your food the entire time.

Two, for introducing me to the sales potential of the Spectrum line of foods. Sale of the product line has been phenomenal! Due both to the incredible eye catching cables and the enthusiasm with which the fish here in the warehouse consume it in front of our walk-in customers.

In the past 18 years I have been in the fish business, I have used almost every brand of fish food on the market -- Spectrum is by far the best I have found.

I started using your New Life Spectrum [Cichlid formula] several months ago...I was sure it would be a good addition to my selection of foods.

The color enhancing qualities of the food was amazing. This was the first time I ever experienced a non-hormonal fish food that could retain the natural colors of the fish just like they were still under sunlight.

After carrying the food for several weeks, I was delighted when my fish manager came to me one day and told me that many of our difficult to feed marine fish were eating the Spectrum food with relish. This, I had to see for myself.

We have a 16,000 square foot facility with over 500 tanks of fish on display. Anyway, long story short, I went out into the department and saw for myself. It was amazing.

Longnose Butterflies were plucking the granules as soon as they hit the water. Even Discus were eating the food.

Now that I have the full line of Spectrum foods in stock, I can offer a quality food that will retain color and has a great acceptability rate for almost all fish. The customer reaction is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your years of knowledge in the formation of this truly premium food line.
